Stagecoach Antiques, Inc. is nestled in the charming city of Akron, Ohio and we have been in business since 1943. In the early days Leo Walter, Jr. used the dining room of his parents, Leo and Margaret Walter. After several moves throughout the West Hill Neighborhood, we have been at our current location for over 30 years.
Leo works in the shop 6 days a week with his daughter Eileen Moats, who took over the leadership role in 2003. Over the years, all of Leo’s children and most of the grandchildren have worked in the shop.
Stagecoach Antiques, Inc. has been successful in helping many customers find just the right door knob or back plate or floor register grates to repair homes in the Akron are and throughout the country. Many sets of grandmothers china and silverware have been added to from our vast inventory. In today’s quest, many customers create their own patterns using various designs—a unique way to build your own style.
We continue to donate to many local organizations in our community. Our future plans are to continue our brick and mortar shop for years to come. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always ready to help customers find their treasures.
